Then there is the opportunity cost of each person being away from their desk for that period. The presenter needs to commute in from Johannesburg, London, or Oslo. Add in the snacks, parking, and the entire thing vacuums a lot of money and demands a lot of effort to arrange. And the carbon footprint is big and ugly.
